The SM Solar Mini Skirt is a one-of-one reconstructed piece, handmade in London from five pairs of upcycled jeans and an archive military surplus jumpsuit.
The skirt combines contrasting denim washes and military-inspired fabric, transforming existing garments into a new silhouette. Its construction celebrates the character of each reclaimed material, with variations in colour, texture, and wear making the finished piece completely unique.

Care & Maintenance
All Studio Mapalo garments are one-of-one, made using a considered mix of new, reclaimed, upcycled, and deadstock materials. Due to their unique construction, each piece should be treated with care.
Where possible, we recommend professional dry cleaning. For garments suitable for washing, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent and allow to air dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying, high temperatures, and harsh detergents.
Natural variations in colour, texture, and finish may develop over time and are part of what makes each garment unique.
